Jill Ruth Rooks
Jill’s passion for helping others and gift of listening have contributed to her coaching success in the fitness industry for the last 20 years. She is creator of The Energy Lab, a health and wellness coach, speaker and best-selling author.
Three things I have learned and try to live by are:

- Be open to every opportunity that comes your way. You don’t always have to jump, but nothing changes without risk and struggle.
- We all need coaches and mentors, whether they be voices in our heads, lessons from the past, or reminders from people who have influenced our lives. “Wisdom given by those who have justly shaped your life is worth passing on.”
I am Jill Ruth Rooks and I love life. I love to see other people living life. I think life is too short a gift to be wasted. Family I come from, family I created, and friends who are family are my WHY.
I have enjoyed a life in the fitness industry since 1999. I was not always fit. Very few of us “come this way”. It is a journey that I live every single day. 22 years ago I made a choice to be healthy. I have gone from a size 16 to a size 6, but more importantly from unhealthy to healthy. I have two children and a husband who have stood with me through the creation of my business and who support my passion and my mission. I work in my “fitness home” every day with clients of all ages and sizes who simply want to be better and enjoy living life “in the skin they are in.” I coach and I teach and I listen. I mentor, I create, and I learn. I write and I collaborate and I share. I am a Platinum member of the Todd Durkin Mastermind, a best-selling published author with Scriptor Publishing (10 Stories of Strong Living, 2017) and involved with the Institute of Motion.
